If I don’t get another set of Contis I might go for Michelin Pilot Sport AS.
I think 225’s would provide a little more grip without messing with the handling or fitment issues. I know some guys run very wide wheels/tires, and it looks awesome and is probably great on track. I just want to enhance the stock car a little. Grippier tires make a pretty big difference, you will be happy.

I think with the twins you can push the car pretty hard and still get in that 25-30 mpg range, which is impressive. It’s a testament to the car being light, with good aero, and a small engine. I agree the tank is too small, but I like the weight savings.

Yeah same as me. Love the look of meaty tires and I thought about it. I like the price, weight, availability etc. of the 225s so I'll go with that to start off with. Plus, since it's a bit of a taller tire, it'll cover up that wheel gap too. I think I'm going with the Indy 500s since I've heard great things about them. I'll be switching it up, but that's the plan for now. The car feels great in turns and when braking as it is so I'm excited for better quality tires

You mean that few pounds of savings? You'd save more going on a diet for a couple months.

I'd say a tank that (under most conditions) gets you comfortably past 300 miles is normal-sized.

I used to sit right at 29 mpg in my mixed driving with the base OFT tune. Now that I'm E85, I'm down around 22.

There is 0% water in clean gasoline. Water is heavier than gas at about 8 pounds so water sinks to the bottom. They will also not stay dissolved in each other very long.

Even stock the FR-S has unreal handling, I’ve never driven a car that was this much fun to toss around. With better tires it’s even more unreal.
Miatas are too wobbly, and I don’t fit in them. S2000’s are convertible only so I have to cross those off the list. Unless I got one as a weekend only fun car.

That's pretty light actually. Water is heavier than that. That would also be a pretty big tank.
