I need your suggestion - I have always used either Shell, Exxon, Valero. How is the Kroger gas, can I use it? Thanks.

You should be fine with any of the ones from this list:

I went through that list before, and I didn't find Kroger. Previous poster said that Kroger is buying Shell gas. Actually, all gas comes from the same refinery may be extra added addictive for engine performance? Exxon and Shell brag about this at the pump displays. Anyway, premium doesn't matter I guess.

I don't have an extended warranty and nobody asked me. How to handle after the warranty ends for repairs?

Depends on the repair, I'd imagine. Some stuff you may only want to go to the dealer for, others you may be able to find a good, local shop that can do it. Rates will probably differ between them as well.

Good luck in the winter. I was thinking about putting on the winter tires the first time today. I hope I can keep the normal tires until November here in upstate NY.
