At lunch yesterday Pink Floyd came on the radio my 45 year old coworker commented on how cool it must have been listening to the radio in the 70s. Figured we had Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Zeppelin and such on the radio all the time. Told him yes you could find that stuff if you searched out a college station but commercial radio was a whole different matter.
Pulled up the video below and blew his mind. He hadn't even heard of most of the songs much less the artist. Some survived until today but most disappeared (thank god) If you have 20 minutes to kill the clips are a pretty wild ride through the 70s.
