Don't care about more power, utility, creature comforts, etc.
I want pop up headlights.

I think a liftback would be cool. Still keep most of the sleek coupe styling but add that extra bit of practicality of having a bigger opening.

I think they could keep the same platform, with the following changes:
- Find a way to cut weight to 2600 lbs. More high strength steel and aluminum for the unibody, control arms, suspension, etc. Lightweight battery in the trunk. Delete the spare tire. Aluminum driveshaft. Whatever it takes, as weight reduction is the key to making this work and, for foreign market tax reasons, keeping the 2.0L. Bringing me to the next point. - Keep the FA20, but optimize high rpm flow for 8000 RPM redline and 220 hp on 93 octane. Maybe flexfuel/e85 compatible for 230 hp. With those two changes, the Twins leapfrog the 2019 ND in terms of performance, while keeping their practicality. Production costs go up with the more exotic materials, but development costs saved by reusing much of the existing platform should help offset that.

Reading all these requests reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer's brother lets him design "The Homer" car.
