I am sure that Humfrz remembers when he had to send faxes when it was first invented.

Also, sometimes my curiosity (and the lengths to which I will go to satisfy it) scares me. I have bought tons of beard products in the last year, but at one point I got curious about making my own. It is regularly stated that making beard oil isn't hard, you just need carrier oils and essential/fragrance oils. Get quality ingredients and you will probably get a quality oil. I don't plan on selling it, but when all is said and done I'll have likely spent over $100 on ingredients and tools.

I "skinned" my seats. Do you have a "hog ringer" or some way to re-attach the seat skin?

I used 250lbs breaking strength zip-ties, trimmed them, then rotated the locking part of the zip tie to where it didn't poke. It has be a few years and none of them have failed on me. Though, if I had it to do again, Not sure this would be how I would...

Also, be very careful removing the seat bolts. I found they are easy to strip the head. I ended up hammering a 7mm socket onto one of the bolts to be able to remove it. I had to go to the store to by the special sockets that work on the seat bolt heads. "e" type torx. Then, IMO, I made a stupid mistake and used an impact driver on the bolts. Which removed 7 of them very quickly (I did both front seats) and stripped the 8th and final bolt very quickly too!

I used a torch to heat up the bolt and a wrench wit a long cheater-bar on the handle. Then it finally came out! (careful not to scorch your carpet like I did! LO!)

Good luck!

Shit, one of my trucks has an axle problem. One of the rear tires is wobbling slightly. Couldn't tell if it was a bent rim or worse. Swapped rear tires left and right, same slight wobble on same side. Crap.

One of the few times I thanked a post and meant "thanks" as opposed to "lol".

It turns out my car came with pre-stripped seat bolts as a dealer installed option. 3 weren't terrible and I was able to hammer the torx socket onto them to get them out. The fourth is all but completely rounded off. I hammered down the socket, but felt it slip with next to no pressure. I live in a townhouse and was working in my driveway, so don't want to make too much noise after dark. I'll take a look in the daylight tomorrow and see if it is something I even want to try to take care of, or just take it to a shop and pay the lazy tax. I'll also have stop by Subaru and pick up 4 new bolts.
