If i'm running extremely lean and rich (lean for first 7 minutes of driving, then incredibly rich), but my AFR stays at around 14.xx, would it be a problem? I'd assume that it is a problem but my AFR's are stoic.

Lean when idling. 30% Fuel trims until after about 7 minutes of warming up, then my fuel trims drop to about -20% under normal throttle. Fuel trims are never lean after the warm up, only rich.

Sorry a couple more questions.. just trying to scout all the information before I start installation.
1. I see some people replace the plastic connections at the back for brass. How necessary is it to do this? I mean, should I do this before I do the install? Are they prone to leaking or breaking or something? 2. Does the 72mm pulley need a smaller idler pulley? 3. The instructions say not to start up the car without a tune. But it would be good to be able to start it up and make sure all the belts etc are aligned properly etc before getting it to a tuner. - I was originally hoping I could get some sort of base tune, perhaps using my OFT just so I could nurse it to the tuners as I don't have anything to pull a car trailer with. Do most people buy an EcuTek license and cable and an e-tune and then take their car to the tuner (or just e-tune)? |

2: No 3: You can start it and idle it. I would not drive it. Not sure about the tuner scene in NZ but we have e-tuned these around the world. A lot of work went into getting it right. The high compression coupled with high temps and instant boost is something that took a long time to iron out. |

As I understand it I can buy a bluetooth Ecutek so I can flash a tune on with my iPhone is that correct? That would be useful as I don't have a PC laptop (only Mac).

Can't flash tunes with iPhone even if you have the bluetooth dongle. I have the same kit. I just use Bootcamp on my Mac to flash tunes.

Ok now I have a MAP sensor question.. from what I have read earlier the Sprintex setup needs to use the OEM sensor. But on the Delicious Tuning site they say that you must use their 11psi MAP sensor?
Does everyone still run the OEM sensor and what tunes are everyone using? I'm a bit unsure which way to go, trailer the car down to a local Ecutek tuner and pay for them to tune it on the dyno. Still have to pay for the Ecutek license and dyno-time. I'm unsure how much experience they've had with these SC kits.. I doubt it would be much. Or e-tune Xero-limit, their package is $849 DT, their package is $1095 (+75 for the TJ Hunt Especial - Crackle and Pop I have no idea what that is..) |

Etune for sure. I am using stock map sensor... And using the 72mm pulley without issues
You can't go wrong with either. Both are solid tuners for this kit. Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk
