Where do you see ITBs for sale? Can't find them under classifieds on here.

I want to learn everything I can about ITB's. Yesterday I learned that the OEM throttle body is used to operate the 4 ITB's through a mechanical linkage. I understand they did this probably to simplify the drive-by-wire environment.

My question: Is the OEM throttle body actuator robust enough to handle the increased load of 4 spring-biased valves and the linkage attached to them?

But thats besides the point.

I'm also well aware what lighter flywheels do. I've run 9 and 11 pound units in other cars.
I don't like turbos. I prefer N/A. It's a free country.

At the end of all this, I just hope there's another useful product to spend money on.
I'm a little surprised at some of the seasoned responses to your previous posts. You're relatively new to the forum, so welcome. While I agree that turbos can lag, BIG turbos can lag, LITTLE turbos dramatically reduce lag (come online earlier, just lack in the top-end).

My last car I just felt the turbo was very finicky, despite Mike's e-tune from Innovative Tuning. With my lack of experience in programming/electronic engine management (drive-by-wire), I'll have to side with you that N/A is my preferred way to go, just to simplify an already complex modern-day engine topic.

Bumping this because I was thinking about ITBs and all the things. Any news out there? I know Delicious was working on something a while back.

A couple guys on a FB group have delivered their result. Long story short the ITBs are too small for the engine. Great low end and midrange and losses of 15-20whp on the top end.

Ooof. I was expecting the opposite. Nothing down low and it all up top

Ouch! Can you share what facebook groups? I'd still be interested in seeing the torque curves.

I'm no expert, but isn't it then just a matter of tuning the length and width of the runners to move the torque around?

I stand corrected. IIRC the one who lost power may of had cams. Here is an otherwise stock long block with a full exhaust on 93 using the supplied IM.

You'll have to do some sifting but the info is there.
