Super glad to have her back repaired nicely.

Anyway maybe people are staring too hard at this car, they lose their senses and just run into it.

But I feel ya OP. Something similar happened to me the first week I got my car. It's a sinking, depressing feeling .

Hmm, if your curse continues I suggest you contact your local shaman.

Until then don't sweat having repairs done. Scars build character.

I don't know, I'd be proud of drift scars, but not "little girl driving dad's car" scars :/.

Hahaha, it actually WAS a girl driving daddies' car

and sure its $25k but I've been waiting for this car since 2008.
I've invested more Time into this car than Money from my point of view.
I've been interested in a car since '08

Not sure I understand your point. I've owned cars that have cost from $300 to $50,000 and I didn't want any of them scratched/dented/etc. I didn't particularly want to put a gun to someone's head if they were damaged, but I was never really "oh well" about it either.

If you're attached to your car, it doesn't matter how much it is.

I guess you can include Canada as part of North America.

Picked up my FR-S in the very first shipment on a Saturday several weeks ago. That Monday, I parked next to the building at work and the idiots re-roofing left a nice tar mist on my roof, hood and trunk lid.

I went home, washed thorougly only to find it wasn't coming off. Got out the power drill and the multi-cut buffing kit I have for repairing the clearcoat on pinball machine playfields and proceeded to remove the tar dots using the finest cut abrasive and a yellow foam pad on the power drill head.

It all came out but I ended up with tons of little while dots on the rubber parts on the car from spatter. Also, ended up leaving a spiral pattern in the clearcoat which I can have a detailer/body shop remove using a slower buffer rotation and a bigger rotating pad eventually.

The paint pattern almost resembles stainless with a spiral grain put into it now. I am the only one who really notices it every day.

You can throw my car in there too, got hit by a truck two days ago minor damage to the passenger door and quarter panel. But they both need to be replaced completely.

I washed and waxed my car and took it for a spin, was pulling a left into a gas station. I thought the guy was letting me go since he was stopped at a stop light and he left a gap infront of him. His light turned green and I guess he didn't see me infront of him since he was so high up and just slowly pushed the door in. His truck had a scuff of red paint on it

Have to wait three weeks until the car is repaired
