Looks fine to me. I don't know how I'll get a badger in there.

Whoa... So I've mentioned before how my company paid me a bunch of money to become a contractor for them with a new employer. Same pay and role, everything. Just a new employer. Well, I swapped to contract for a different division of the same company after only 3 months because we were allowed to do that. I'm talking to someone that stayed on the old division and they're getting outsourced in February. What looked like a guarantee was only good for a year, it seems.

I just dropped my motorcycle endorsement on my license.
I took my motorcycle test years ago in a part of San Jose that is pretty rough. It was pretty funny. I meet the guy around back, he has me tell him where things are: brakes, clutch, etc.. Then he tells me to weave between the cones. There are no cones. I look at him and he says, "yea, people keep stealing the cones. Just weave." Then he tells me to go in a circle around the cones. I laugh and do a couple circles. Then he tells me to go out on the street and go thru a couple gears. I do. I come back and he says, " You know how to ride. ". He hands me my slip. The whole thing took about 10 minutes. |

Yea, and you don't really want to use Ben-Gay for "peter pain" either. It will not end well, not that I know that from accidental exposure to it or anything....

I also took a motorcycle test in California many ah moon ago. I took my trials bike down to the testing place in the back of my pickup truck. The tester fellow came out and asked me if I needed help off loading the bike. I said, no, I'll just ride it down on this 2x4. He stood back, I rode it down. He said if I could ride it back up, he would pass me. I did and he passed me. humfrz |

When I took my original test in Virginia, I was 19 and rode the bike I was going to use to the test center. Just about the time we started the test it occurred to me that hadn't been a good plan. The tester never said anything though.
I did the "figure eight around the cones" thing and I passed, again 10 minutes. I found out later that in Virginia you have 30 days after taking a rider's course to get either a learner's permit or a full endorsement. I'm guessing the inspector just assumed I had taken the course, or had the learner's permit since he never looked at my existing license.
