Hi all,
I have GT86 2012 and my engine was broken several days ago (ROD bearing issue) I know that brz and toyota 86 has same engine. I even checked original toyota and subaru parts catalogs and detected that they are looks similar, but vendor codes are different for the same parts. Please help me - is that parts are the same? Because in my location i can faster and cheaper (~ 2 times cheaper) to buy subaru parts Maybe this question is a little dumb but i want to be warned in advance because this is online shop and i have no possibility to compare it's parts with mine Example screen attached

Any time you see a part number at Toyota that looks like SUxxx-xxxxx, it's a subaru part with a new number so Toyota can find it in their system.

Yes, same part different number. Whenever I buy OEM parts I compare the two since their prices can be vastly different.
