Bye bye tq dip, looks like it was an issue of VE huh? Also quite disappointed in the Honda style torque but that's fine I'm about top end not so much putt putt, looks like with two more lbs you'll get about 230whp with the same timing and fuel adjustments you have been going with

Congratulations! Quite the accomplishment!

I particularly enjoy the 150-155 ft-lbs at redline. Something about a flat torque curve out to redline really makes me smile.

Although, does this point towards boost creeping up past the set point of 4 psi in the higher revs? I used to have this problem back in the day when the wastegate was insufficent and wasn't relieving enough exhaust causing boost creep in the upper revs.

Either way, I am fine with a small boost creep if it means flat torque!!! Now we need to raise the rev limiter.... :happy0180:

Was just out cruising around its a very noticeable difference part throttle. Haven't gotten on it hard yet. Its 2am and I'm tired. Not trying to get pulled over.

That's a beautiful progressive power line and right up to 7,500rpm instead of falling off just before 7,000rpm.
The torque is almost constant across the range with a slight build and holding well at the top end.
That should result in a sweet power delivery on the road with a flexible engine that responds and rewards as the revs climb but doesn't need to be rung out to keep up as some VTECs do.

I make that about 241Nm at the flywheel which is well within the manual trans spec.

oh man. This makes me not want the SC anymore lol. This is what I wanted, nothing insane with the power, just a nice flat tq line. Good Job!

I just drove the Turbo Brz home for the night. Drives great. Very noticeable to say the least.

Step 1: Buy my BRZ
Step 2: Buy this awesome turbo kit
Step 3: Aww yeah!

This is coming along very nicely, dyno with 4 psi of boost is looking real good.

Don, have you guys played around too much with the variable cams and their effect on output? I'm positive there are more gains to be had, but I am really curious how the variable cams will impact the tuneability and output.

I am sure you can get to 220whp on 4psi. Even at 6psi the disco is begging for more. I have never experienced a turbo that works as well as the disco for a daily driven and responsive setup. It's a great unit.
