Loaded one of the trucks with the 4 foot high stack of cardboard boxes to take to the recycle. Man, I paid a lot for those boxes. Moving isnt cheap.

Tomorrow my one job will be changing a wax ring on a toilet. Good times.

Made two lids. The crates can fill in the area next to the sink. I can just lay sideways with them configured like this. I am happy with how it's working.

Routered the edge, shaped the formica to fit, then glued it down. Deck stained the edge. It came out ok.

wax rings are for people that don't know better!

Well, I never claimed to be a toilet expert.

I bought one of those 2 or 3 way programmable light switches. I tried to install it to program my porch lights to go on/off each night. It is a 3 way switch. I have a 3 way dimmer on one side, and wanted to put the programmable switch on the other side. I could not get it to work. I had to put the regular 3way back on. I need the dimmer because without it my new porch lights are so bright my house looks like a landing strip, and I want my lights on at night because there are no streetlights on my street.

Hell, wax rings are just fine, as long as you get them placed proper.

Why didn't you just turn the wick down? -

Oh, it threw me off when you said "Routered the edge, shaped the formica to fit, then glued it down."

I thought you glued the wood top to the plastic crate -

Now why didn't I think of that?

I assume the hot side was at the dimmer end? It should work if you flip the dimmer and programmable switch locations. The programmable switch should need the constant power, where the dimmer shouldn't care which traveler powers it.

Which switch did you get?

And I'm no toilet expert either(i nearly hired a plumber for it despite how stubborn i am), which was how i discovered the alternatives to buying multiple wax rings. And I had to redo the subfloor at my house because the old wax ring leaked through the tile for an unknown amount of years. The toilet was mostly supported by the sewer pipe! So i went searching for something so it wouldn't happen again

They'll work great for seats to cook around the fire!
