I'm not sweating it. Figure the one underpaid guy took enough flak from the customer who received only the right side.

Nor a "honey wagon" back in the old country. Yep, the animal manure was deposited in a farm barnyard and the nutrients were leached out all during the winter and collected in large wells.

Come spring the farmers would transfer the solution and sludge into "honey wagons" and pull them down the road to their fields where the nutrients were spread out as fertilizer.

Now, getting stuck behind one of those wagons on a warm spring day in a un airconditioned car, was a definite smell to remember -

Anyone except @Tcoat experience that?

I still experience that every spring and fall when traveling to the cottage. The only difference is now the spray is controlled by computer.

It's called Fort Irwin.

Poor guys.

When I was there (1971, 1972) that 1,000 square mile hell hole had been deactivated, so there wasn't much going on. The "PX" consisted of this ugly girl selling shaving cream, cigarettes and candy bars out of a tent. Of course, after a couple of weeks, she wasn't so ugly anymore -

I recall one fine August day, the temperature (air temperature - NOT heat index) got up to 112 degrees F. I ordered my troops to sit in the shade of their tracked vehicles and do NOTHING but drink water. It was even too hot for me to crack open my canteen of vodka -

Oh, I've considered it. I've mulled over a few ideas. In the end, stiffer mounts of OEM form factor won the day.

Now if I could only have a pair...
