My quick first impressions from are that power builds smoothly with a nice little surge around 5k, holding past 7k. I have little experience with other cars so take that for what it's worth. I'll try and provide better feedback once I visit the canyons this weekend. One thing I can definitely say is that I'll need better rubber to scrub off the newly added speed.
I noticed the surge at 5k too, maybe ya me or my tune but I feel like there is less power than UEL headers in the torque dip range.

Probably either your tune, or in your head by how it's delivering power. This is JDL's own testing of their 4-2-1 EL vs their UEL

I feel like the power delivery is much smoother than the UEL. It doesn't feel as fast by seat of the pants but I also feel like I rip through the gears faster so it probably is. Below 2.5k rpm i feel like its more doughy than the UEL however.

How many revisions have you had from delicious tuning so far on your header? Im still on their base tune waiting to hear back.

I did about 6 revisions, but the last 2 were right after they launched an updated 4-2-1 version. They've tuned a few now, so I'd guess that you'll have less revisions before it is spot on.

Still on base tune. It took me a little while to find somewhere I was comfortable doing the 3rd gear pull log. Hoping for a revision this week. Fuel trims aren’t too bad and there has only been one time my Iam dropped below 1 so it’s a reasonable base tune.

I would say that for me at least, what I feel actually matches that graph. The swell from 3500-4000 in the torque graph is the first push you feel from the car when getting on the power, and then a little before 5000 there is another little surge with power holding to redline.

Turns out I was on the Delicious Stage 2 not the JDL tune. I'll flash tonight and see if it feels much different.

Oh you were on the Delicious Stage 2 base tune, and not their Stage 2 base tune specifically for the JDL header? Let me know what you think.

Initial impressions are its a step above the stg 2 I had. Throttle response under 3k rpm is much improved. Power delivery is smooth. Will give further impressions once the tune has settled in and learnt what it needs to learn after a flash.

Good stuff. Let me know what you think of cruising in 6th gear. Do you feel like you have enough power to pass people without downshifting to 5th?

Personally I would downshift but I can try 6th and see. What sort of speed range? At 60mph I can't imagine it being an issue. At 50mph I don't think it would be very happy.

Hey everyone, hope everyone has been enjoying the last bits of summer before it cools off!

I got a better mount for my DSLR, so I wanted to do a little redux of my header video. Has a little more variety in terms of driving situations as well.
