Backfire Tune not working with RomRaider - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

So I’ve been trying to tune my 2017 86 to backfire. I currently have unequal length catless headers and a remark muffler delete, with the oft stage 2+ tune. I followed step by step for the tune and it didn’t work. I tried then setting the number to -12 on the table . It burbles a little but no actual pops. I do have an automatic but I don’t think that would be a problem. Can anyone please help me out? I’ve tried doing on different computers but nothing seems to work.

How does the car behave when you let off the gas in the automatic? Does it keep the revs up, or does it drop to idle pretty fast? You need the revs to hang for a bit for it to work IIRC.

That said, please don't... it's a great way to hurt the engine (lots of unburnt fuel can wash away oil on the cylinder walls).

Yep. We used to know how bad it was for an engine and work very hard to eliminate them. Now...

a bit of ignition retard, like -10degres, on light load, you think it s dangerous to the engine?

and what about the stock restyling tunes, with -40degress of ignition timing when you mash on the throttle even on high loads, you think is different? you think subaru gives us engine smashing tunes on porpouse?
