I recently installed a set of 17x8 - 40 Ultraforms on my '15 BRZ. They weigh in at just under 17 lb. I sense a difference in performance but since I replaced the stock Mich o-rings with 225/45 Conti EC-Sport+ at the same time I have no way of disentangling the wheels' effect from the tires.

In all it shaved about 2 pounds off each corner. I'm happy.
I can second konigs. 17x8 can fit up to 245 and as low as 225. Love my hypergrams and they come in at 16.3 lbs

I like my 720Form GTF1s as well. Been running those since I got my car in 2016. They fit the stock tires as well with a bit of stretch.

Don't see the 720forms sold in the US? Thinking of RFP1s in 17x8 with 215/40/17s, though Tire Rack is blowing some Fujian wheels out for $150 each in 18x8. No or little weight savings there, but with 225/45 tires, saves a few hundred.
