The ACE is an amazing product without a doubt, but for the price to my door in Canada, I’m still happy with the JDL from a bang-for-buck perspective.
The dip that particular Ace graph is an anomaly. See the graphs under for how they normally look. Not sure why the dip is there on that pull; may have been wheel slip on the dyno or something.

@CSG Mike

These are the same results posted in the other thread of a JDL 4-1 header correct? NOT the 4-2-1.

Useless comparison and misinformation.

I know it's an outdated and discontinued header, but I'm considering swapping my Nameless Performance/ Cosworth headers for these sometime early next year. Any idea how this could compare to it?

Why would you? Nameless/Cossworth's also is very good header performing very good. Some drawbacks might be it not filling well torque dip and bad clearance in front of engine, but it did well regarding overall gains/area under curve. Imho there is very little to gain switching one catless header to another, bad price/performancy wise purchase decision.

It's just a thought is all.

I installed my 4-2-1 about a week ago. They went it very smoothly. There was no interference anywhere. In fact the 4-2-1 fit better than the JDL UEL header they replaced. Power wise they have a smoother torque cure than the UEL but I shouldn't really comment as I am just on the Delicious base map. Once the tune is finalised I'll have some better driving feel comparisons.

I doubt anyone will really be able to compare. If you want to update then see how much you can sell the Nameless headers for to offset the cost of the new headers and tune. Also keep in mind the Nameless headers have a 3" output while the JDLs have a 2.5" so you may need to change your over pipe setup to suit.

I have a 2.5" overpipe so that will stay.

Everything fits really well, and there are no issues with fitment on the skid pan.

In case anyone is curious, I had these headers and the Nameless axleback muffled 5" track pipe (single exit), and it sounded pretty terrible. It was raspy and had a lot of drone. I previously used Tomei UEL headers with that same axleback and it had zero rasp. I ended up swapping back to stock muffler today.
When I installed mine I also put a JDL ultra quiet catted front pipe and the Perrin 2.5" resonated cat back. No Rasp, sounds great and is surprising quiet when cruising @ 100km/h (~60mph)

Finished tuning with Bill today so I finally got to fill up with some e85. My budget didn't allow for dyno time so I'm sorry I can't provide any pretty graphs.

My quick first impressions from are that power builds smoothly with a nice little surge around 5k, holding past 7k. I have little experience with other cars so take that for what it's worth. I'll try and provide better feedback once I visit the canyons this weekend. One thing I can definitely say is that I'll need better rubber to scrub off the newly added speed.
