I like the red stripes. Usually, I don't like stuff like that, but on your car, they look good -

Installed a Rexspeed A pillar, Defi oil pres, and water temp with some random parts.

Upgraded to a set of these Eyes of Mega Tron LEDs. Had Sylvania ZXE's that lasted 25k miles.

These have a 6k color temp and is brighter than my future. Has a built in cooling fan and adjustable beam pattern. The cut off is nice and sharp.

Everything seems to work like factory.

Bleed the coolant system using this pretty neat funnel.

The sensor required a 1/8pt fitting.

I tapped into the gallery plug using a subaru adapter and crush washer. torqued it to 18.1ft-lbs.

I used these add a fuses to keep things simple. I used: stop(12v), radio(12v ign), panel(lighting), screw(ground)

Hope you enjoy these pics. The project 86 is done for now. Next time, payoff car loan.

I replaced my very old TomTom XL N14644 4.3 inch screen GPS with a Garmin DriveSmart 61 NA LMT-S 6.95" GPS refurb from BuyDig for $99. shipped with coupon code July19. https://www.buydig.com/shop/product/...-Year-Warranty Currently selling new for $189.99 at Amazon.
I received it yesterday. It looks brand new. It came with the suction cup mount, power cable, USB cable, and the Quick Start manual. The full manual can be downloaded here: http://static.garmin.com/pumac/Drive...1_61_OM_EN.pdf
The 6.95" screen is huge compared to the TomTom. Updated its software and maps with the free Garmin Express software. Good deal for $99. with a 1 year warranty, lifetime map updates, bluetooth, wifi, and voice command.

New TOB, verus forged clutch fork, new clutch/flywheel. Also the perrin rear shifter bushing. That bushing is great, transmission feel is so solid now.

But holy crap the increase in vibration can be intense in certain situations.

*edit* could actually be the new clutch breaking in too.

Mounted/balanced 2 tires for my stock wheels, and 1 tire for my Weds.

Stupid discount tire. Charged me dismount x3, mount x 3, and balance x3 because i brought outside tires. $105.
Would have been half the price if I bought their own tires.

Obviously too late for you but maybe someone else can use it... I saw a hydraulic slave/throw out bearing combo(one unit) for the ft86 chassis somewhere. It was expensive but eliminates the clutch fork entirely. Would replace your slave and throw out bearing. This was functionally identical to those used on LS engines/transmissions

Bet it's the clutch. I had the same problem with light load and 2 high of gear.

thats actually when i hear and feel it. little bit heavier load, low rpm in the next gear. like getting out of 1st gear @ 10 mph and trying to accelerate a bit too much in 2nd. im assuming it should go away as everything wears in

I think it does. I am about at 2000 miles on my new clutch. I will test and report back

Car got hit by a wood panel that fell off a truck in front of me going 70 on the highway. Didn't want to brake and get rear ended so the front bumper took the hit. Luckily, the only damage was loose grille and a few barely noticeable scratches.

Got home and clipped the grille back on and good as new! Kind of bummed out as I've only had the car for about 3 weeks. On the other hand, the wood piece didn't fly through the windshield.
