What I can't figure out is how someone makes 54000 posts! I look at my 3000 and think I've posted a lot.

My main job involves telling people what they need to do, waiting for them to do it, reviewing what they did and then approving it or sending them back to do it again.

The second part of my job involves working at the corporate level with all the plants in North America. This means I spend a shitload of time sitting on Skype meetings or conference calls that have nothing to do with me since they involve laws and issues specific to Mexico or the US but I have to attend anyway.

The last (and technically most important) part of my job is being available if the shit hits the fan and then reacting. We have effective systems in place so that the shit rarely hits the fan.

This means I get loads of small blocks of time (from 5 to 15 minutes) scattered through my workday where I used to just watch YouTube videos. Now I post on here instead. This is why it appears that I am always here even though that isn't even close to accurate. Right now I am on a call about contractor safety issues in China. There is nothing I have to say on the subject so have about a hour to kill while listening.

Oh and I can have some many posts because I have a big mouth and like to comment on things.

Haha this is quite the concise answer for a random, off-hand comment. Seems that last point makes the most sense.
