Bringing this thread back up... Getting back in the game w/ a P&L turbo BRZ. I had an STX thread I started in '13 that briefly morphed into a SM thread once I slapped a P&L kit on that car, that I sold soon after.
I'm going to build a quasi XS-A car (won't be going full-tilt--at least for now lol), and am wondering if 18x10s (+40 or higher offset) on 275/35s with slightly rolled fenders & -3 & -2 of camber (F&R) will work--or possibly 285s? I ran the Wicked Awesome 18x9.5s +42 w/ 275 Hoosiers worked, on my old FR-S. That car was on MCS singles, as well. And, of course, if I decide to slap on some A7s to SM I go... lol

I noticed they are thinking about changing the rule on cross brand engine swaps.
No more 150 lb penalty for shoving an LS in your 86. |

As long as we have displacement based min weights, something like an LS probably isn't going to be your best choice.
Kyle's K24 Turbo idea is allowed to be 300 lbs lighter than a small bore 5.3 liter. |
