Also having issues getting the bottom radiator panel back on with the new intercooler setup. Working with CSG to get it sorted out. Hopefully I can have the tune done by the weekend

Pictures and install thoughts for the Jackson Racing kit coming shortly.
Still waiting on tune updates from DT, so the car hasn't been driven much outside of some low speed logging for the tune. The sound is addicting. Their "Silent operation" claim is hilariously inaccurate. At parking lot speeds, the Rotrex unit sounds like a jet fighter taxiing down the runway. I haven't been able to go past 3500 rpm yet, but you definitely hear it spool up, windows closed or not. It's awesome. The car drives very much like stock in the lower rpms, as expected. Looking forward to wringing it out after I get the green light from Delicious. I'll be taking it out to the track on Saturday for a first spin. Should be a blast. |

What happened to saying forced induction wasn't necessary for the 86/brz platform?

I was just thinking with the extra power the gear spacing may not be idea with your 4.3 rear end. Guess you won't know until you try it. If you do decide to go lower you can have the old diff out of my car. It's a good rebuilder.

Update??
Just FYI there is a diff on FB market place for sale right now in PDX. 3.9 FD with Kaz 2 way LSD for 800. I paid 575 for a 18' diff with a 4.3 so you could offset your cost selling yours. 4.3's are high demand for older cars like mine, they seem to sell quick. |
