not a pain per se

it was painful in that you are cutting holes in your hood. check out my instagram for more photos but Verus gives you outlines you tape to the bottom of your hood. then you drill out some holes for the bolts on the vanes to go through and then some bigger holes to start cutting. i used a dremel with a cutting wheel. some guys use a sawzall or a 4 inch cutting wheel on a grinder.

I finished my holes with a counter sink bit and then filed down the edges to a smooth bore and then cleaned up the corners so theyd be covered.

the vents are aluminum and will conform to the hood, do NOT bolt down the nuts tightly like less than 10 ft lbs finger tight plus half turn is what i did, you dont want to wrinkle the hood

its pretty easy and straightforward its just... theres no going back

Most recent is headlight/signal restoration. Florida sun is a killer for a 100% outside car.

Installed the OEM lookalike armrest. One of my favorite mods so far. Just the right height. Red stitching. Installed in 5 minutes my own way. Cost $130ish

I reckon that would depend on the condition of the rotors. Personally, I wouldn't replace the rotors if they weren't warped (as felt through the pedal) or deeply grooved (visual inspection) or worn down below spec. (as measured).

Added a Fumoto F-108*valve, pretty cool. Had to tighten it down a bit more then they said I would have to... I had a small leak after I finger tightened it and used a 1/4 turn of the wrench to tighten it. Had to give another 1/4 turn to make it stop.

Tinted the windows today. Car had been reading 114° on the thermostat lol. Got sick of being hot on my drives home. Llumar ceramic, 30% up front, 15% in the rear.

I dumped the oil out for the 22,500km oil change. I lifted the pan so it was just under the sump plug this time, so didn’t spill a drop.

Then, while waiting for the sump to drain, I realised I’ve forgotten to buy oil to put in.

Oh well, time for my semi-annual bus ride.

Customized the rear deck today, deleted the 3rd brake light and covered in suede material. Peep the red rear seatbelts too
