I got the insulation in, and the wiring mostly done.

Being married is about sharing. My wife chose the paint for the van trim, and panels. it's bright!

I like it! Tomorrow... walls! its going to start looking better soon!

Ah, that random Friday after a Thursday holiday where every sane person took the day off to just extend their weekend instead of having a day off in the middle of the week only to slog through a single day that stands in the way of the weekend. This office is dead and I feel silly sitting here.

I have someone coming to look at the bike this Sunday. But, that's not why I'm posting. I'm posting because a second person also emailed me to ask if the bike was available. A normal enough question, but always a little strange to get an email in bold Comic Sans and all caps.

I told them that while the bike is still technically available, someone else has dibs, but they're next in line. They replied:

"THANKS BY THE WAY-WHO MAKES THIS BIKE?"

I know I should expect dumb questions like this, but the make of this bike is literally right in the title of the ad, which means it is also in the subject line of the email that HE sent ME...

I just said "A company called Buell makes this bike" and sent a link to the wikipedia article about the bike.

Our production departments took the day off unpaid. They come in at 6, the other departments start at 8, which is our normal business hours.

So I come in at 6 today because I have a customer that needs to pickup from here by 6:30. And...............he was a no show

Oh, that's terrible. I can actually still get a little work done, and I'm salaried. I'll be leaving in about an hour. But that? That just sucks.

Nice, I'd like to leave but I can't. It's a holiday week and I am tech support for the amusement industry so I have to stay through business hours. The only thing that annoys me about it is I am salary too and this was planned with this customer last week.

Also, today's commutes were glorious. 36 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the afternoon? I'll never beat those times again.
