Oh, BTW, my love for Canada deepened on the drive back to Detroit. There was a decent level of traffic but with all of the drivers being remarkably attentive, it flowed like a beautifully choreographed ballet.

Told you it wasn't a 3 1/2 trip like everybody was saying. That stretch is pretty much like that all the time. If you went an hour in the other direction it would be a whole different story!

I have had to sit and wait while no less than 40 wild turkeys crossed the road in single file. Looked just like that but wasn't a loop.

Did you have Tom the Crossing Guard too?

We have wild turkeys near our house relatively frequently, crossing a 4 lane divided road. Sometimes they'll just camp out on the median (which is grass and tree lined) so the local police will come and herd them on.

Yes. One on each side and in perfect center of the oncoming lanes. They know their job!

I can't be bothered to go back and figure out why the puns started, but I approve of them.

Apparently the Georgia ones aren't as smart as the ones up your way then, or maybe just not as polite.

Had a customer shock himself during a tech support call. It was only 110. Hard to stay professional on the phone while the customer belts out a long string of expletives.
