I’ve lost a lot of people to Atlanta. The drugs are awful.

Colorado is full. Move along.

Haha but seriously it’s a great place to call home. Cost of living/housing has increased quite a bit in the last 5-7 years. Homes have more than doubled in price in some areas. Lots of construction happening so I’m sure an experienced electrician could find some good work.

We’ve got a few race tracks within a decent drive, High Plains Raceway, Pueblo, Pikes peak Raceway. A couple smaller ones in the mountains as well.

Emissions testing is required by county for cars 7 years or older. Not sure how often...maybe once every 3 years or so. Expect to have an emissions test requirement if you are in the metro area.

Big negative here is the cost to register cars.

Curious as you're a native, where's a more lowkey area, as while I liked Denver and can maneuver around with ease (I'm basically in 2-3 of the 5 boroughs every other work day), more of a small town kinda guy

Not a native. Moved here when I was 22- around 2008. I’ve been around long enough to see quite a bit of change.

For the money, im a big fan of Brighton and Green valley Ranch. New Gaylord convention center is going to bring some money and jobs. Many folks will tell you to look into the more well known neighborhoods and I’d suggest that but I’d like to put money into something with a larger upside.

If you want to ski- January-March.

Cheaper hotels in the mountains during mud season (now- basically when skiing ends til summer).

Fall is the best weather and some great views of you catch the leaf color change.

Summer- hiking and rafting.

IMO- not a bad season. Just different things to do in each. Track days can be done in the winter, we get enough sunlight that snow melts decently quick and winter rates are cheap at HPR.
