Maybe you will find a nice woman to allow you to ride along with her -

I bought a new more expensive mattress pad later and didn't have an issue. There must have been some sort of chemical or additive in the cheaper fabric that couldn't be removed by washing.

I suggest you think back at least a week.

Don't forget about chasing down knocked over cones! That's the best part!

Jk, I know nothing about autocross except I want to try it out. Someday............

Good!

Keep water on you, be friendly and willing to volunteer, youll make friends fast, always helps to have a more experienced person go with you. Is this a 4 run event or a practice (10 run) event?

Wait until night and then go to the construction on South George Street, Grantly Avenue, Mt. Rose Avenue, I83 near the Market Street exit, Camp Betty Washington Road... plenty of courses to choose from, and they only seem to be active work zones during rush hour for some reason.

Lol. Just rearranging the cones into autocross courses and watching the morning commute should be interesting enough.

'Why are there switchbacks on the overpass?!?!'

I hated the times at SCCA events here where they would put my class in the first run group, then have us work the last group. Waiting all day to work before you go. You sure didn't want to get on the "did not work" list. Whenever my class was in the first couple run groups, I would try to show up early and volunteer for the setup crew. That way I could just leave after my runs.

So many differences in how regions run AutoX events.

We do 4 heats 3+ runs each, and you run two, 1/3 or 2/4. Even out temp and other weather, clean course, etc somewhat. With enough people you only work one, and heats are split so 2 driver cars don't have any less time between runs than anyone else.

To me, that line was supposed to establish to the viewer that Han is a bullshit artist just saying impressive-sounding words to dazzle Obi-Wan and Luke into buying his services. Han is supposed to be this fast-talking, self-centered smuggler on the run who only looks out for himself (and maybe Chewie...). It makes sense that he would bullshit about his ship, it makes sense that he'd shoot Greedo before he has a chance to do anything to put Han in more danger.

To make the kessel run quote literal (and making Greedo shoot first), takes away a part of what makes Han's arc special. Han coming back to help the Rebels is special because its exactly the thing the old Han would never do. Truth-telling, only-shooting-in-self-defense, always-been-a-good-guy Han is way less interesting, at least in my opinion.

/nerdrant

No argument from me, the thing that bothers me most about the "new" Star Wars movies......same plot in all of them.

All have followed the same "road map" ..... define a cause, meet at a bar, get in ship, play virtual chess, jump to light speed (don't forget the tracker), save a people, bad guys show up, fight (with light), someone is someones daddy (Luke / Vader, Han and Ben). .....blah blah blah.....nothing original since the first ones...
