Pliers and grab tight from the outside or drill them out, possibly ruining the pulley.

Use a Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel and make a slot for a large flat head screw driver. If that doesn't work, you're left with the screw extractor method.

Its been 10 days since I sent in my first log to Delicious, 5 days ago I got my lastest revision from DT for a WOT test and ever since then I'm getting a strange stumble/hesitation at 2-2500rpms. I'm thinking it might be something to do with the last revision but could it be that vacuum actuator you guys have been having problems with?
Just wondering while I wait to hear what DT says. Thanks guys.

Pull the line off the back of the supercharger that goes to the bypass valve. If you have a handheld vacuum pump draw a vacuum and see if it holds. If you don't, blow into the line. There should be no air motion in either case.
A leak at the bypass valve will usually show up at idle first. When the car is warmed up what are your Short Term Fuel Trims at idle? Since you are in the process of getting tuned I don't think it is usual for everything to not be perfect. That is why it is a process. |

I'll test it but I think its just a tune hiccup, looks like its dumping a lot of gas with almost no load (worried it was something dangerous). Your right its a process and I'll have wait. Thanks for the tip on how to easily test the valve though.

Log your fuel trims. I am going through the tuning on my sprintex 210 and seeing the same thing at times and notice fuel trims go wonky

Yup, one of my friends literally installed his 5th one about a week ago, they stop sending replacements after the first one and you get to pay out of pocket for their inability to do QC. If you ask them then it's "not a widespread issue" and "the part is considered a wear item" Honestly wish I hadn't bought one with how poorly they're handling this issue.

Bypass valve installed, idle now stable even when pinching the hose. Now to get a proper checkup on my tune from the guys at Delicious Hopefully that's the only leak I had. I clamped every hose and also used more where there wasn't any in the instructions.
Fingers crossed! |
