I have a full blackjack table, my Fiancée made a Pai Gow layout for it too, and we play poker all the time. Just for fun or chump change nothing crazy just enough to make people play serious. We have a poker ring with different people hosting each night. It's great fun and it doesn't cost much for the host if everyone brings like a side dish or booze or whatever.

That has got me thinking. In Okinawa where mothers side of the family is from, they were sugar cane farmers. Over the decades the cities grew and they sold off chunks of land. I remember in 2012 when I was visiting my grandmother was showing me a strip of bricks in front of some stores that was still her property. It was literally 6 inches by maybe 10ft and was a remnant from a past subdivision of properties. I think eventually she just signed it off

That is the challenge with friendly poker games. Play with quarters, you might as well play high card because everyone is in. Raise the stakes too high and people freak out. You need it just right.

Haha most of friends my get serious over like a $10 buy in... but then again we use like $1000 in fake chips so it feels like more money. We start at 1/2 but raise the blinds pretty fast. It gets interesting.
