Went and got the sticker for the plate, tidied up some loose ends, put the seats back in, washed it and DROVE.

I broke the 2500lb mark and am at 2489.

Had a buddy do it. I trust him. If you are interested LMK. He does good work but he is not the cheapest..

Damn that is some serious weight reduction. What work is done to hit that. These cars are quoted 2750ish dry weight right?

Too much to list. Gutted among other stuff. Some will go back in to make it more tolerable. There are many that weigh less.

Edit, yes 2750. My AT was supposed to be 2800 but when I had it corner balanced with the weight loss I has already done I think that is 25lbs high

Replaced my gas cap.

CEL came on with no other symptoms, so first thing I did was take the cap off and put it back on. CEL went away after a couple restarts. Same thing happened a few times over the course of last week, each time the light going away after I tighten the cap and restart the car a couple times. Went to Autozone over lunch today, gave them my year make and model, they said they didn't have any caps in stock. I told them to check if they had any for the BRZ or Toyota 86, and they had ones for the BRZ. So I bought one of those for $11. Fit perfect, no CEL so far

Took apart and serviced the rear brakes as I could hear them sticking a little bit.

No brake service is complete without one busted knuckle.
