After that it didn't happen anymore. Was gonna buy a new harness, but never did because it stopped happening.

I had another belt that was included and this one looked way better. Swapped belts and squeak gone

Getting more whine with the stock intake. I saw this video on YouTube where this guy added a sound tube from the intake through the firewall to amplify the whine. Car was a mustang but still same concept. Gotta admit I was looking forward to a louder wine. What are ppl thoughts on this and using the old firewall opening where the OEM sound tube was?

You may be the guinea pig when doing this with the stock intake. If you're willing to try an alternative approach, the Moto East 3" short intake really makes the SC scream -- literally. You could hear it from a half mile away probably. Not comparable to stock at all (whine is audible even from ~1500rpm)

If I can find a second Intake pipe for cheap I will test this. Even with the shorty 3inch I would need a new metal intake pipe going to the charger or does it support the stock plastic one?

If you really want to get the whine, the nameless metal intake pipe with either the aforementioned 3” filter, or a Perrin big maf 3” cai if you can find one.

3” filter does Supports the plastic pipe as well though. But the metal pipe adds a lot of whine. More prone to heat soak though.

I don't have experience with the combination of the 3" Moto-East short-ram intake and metal intake pipe, but I can tell you that 3" Moto-East intake connects directly to the stock plastic pipe (which is what i'm running), and is louder than the 3" perrin with metal pipe.

The metal pipe will enhance the whine of the 3” filter even more.
But neither are recommended unless E85 or WMI to keep Intake temps down. As the metal pipe heat soaks more then plastic and the 3” filter is basically a hot air intake.

Did you switch from metal pipe and Perrin big maf to the plastic pipe and 3” filter?

Hi,
Is anyone here able to tell me if an aftermarket mid-pipe (cat-less or high-flow) will make a difference in terms of gains? (Im currently 210 supercharged with exhaust) My header + over pipe are cat-less and my cat-back is high flow. I kept the mid pipe to stay somewhat quiet but now Im curious to know if replacing the mid-pipe for a high-flow or even straight piping will benefit at all.

Getting rid of the second cat in the front-pipe will probably free up about 2whp. Jdl ultra quiet FP or hks double res FP will keep noise and drone down while losing the cat.

Not worth it IMO. You see gains but it will not be measureable on the butt Dyno.

Speaking of butt dyno, I'm considering going this route, what are impressions before/after?

Do it! It's a large difference even on 91 coming from oft stage 2 with catless header. When not on it you can barely tell it's even there. Drives OEM like. Throttle is much smoother from 2k to 4k on partial input because you do get some boost. On WOT 2-3k there is a decent difference but when you hit about 4k it really takes off. But everything builds very smoothly. The chassis takes the power with ease with the mods in my signature. It does produce alot extra heat. OIL cooler is a must. Or the OEM cooler + larger radiator could work for a street driven only car. I run the Jackson racing radiator and have zero issues with temps. Hoping to do my first major canyon run soon and track day. On next fill up tuner has given me the green light to fill up with e85. This should put me in the 275 whp range and 220-230wtq and on this car it's plenty fast and it's all usable.
