Good timing.

Make sure the house that you have title to is covered by homeowners insurance. Sometimes that can get sticky with insurance companies, especially in rent back situations.

Seldom do I feel the urge to rant on line, but this situation has me furious and hopefully by venting to you folks, it will help me get over it.

Last Saturday afternoon about 5:00 PM, two men entered a small Mom & Pop corner grocery store, about 3 miles from where I live. The owners were an older Asian couple, who had owned and operated this little store for over 20 years.

According to the husband, who survived, the two men were young, black, about 6’ tall, weighing about 200lbs and wearing surgical masks and black hoodies. They were both armed with handguns and demanded the money from the cash register. The wife of the owner gave them all the money that was in the register, then she turned away.

One of the men then shot the 79 year old woman in the back, killing her.

The men then drove off in a car, which had been stolen.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s office, found the stolen car, abandoned, later that night. On Monday, the Sheriff found one of the “suspects”, a 16 year old boy, floating, dead, in Puget Sound, about 15 miles away, with a gunshot wound to his head.

On Wednesday (today) the Sherriff’s department tracked down the other “suspect”, another 16 year old, black boy. He is now in jail.

What kind of animal would do that? Shoot an old woman in the back, killing her, after she gave them what they wanted?
