i think it's acceptable in the way that both seats look that way, meaning it's likely more of a design defect that should have been addressed during pre-planning.

use it to strike a better deal.

Honestly most likely Im going to roll into the dealership tomorrow and tell them that needs to be fixed along with likely other parts that just didnt come out well enough.

For clarity this is a dealer installed leather, not factory installed. I told the guy I will be comparing it to the factory installed leather on the upper trim model, and if it isn't as good then Im saying something. (clearly it isn't as good). This is on the '19 Toyota corolla se I'm buying, comparing it to the XSE that comes with factory installed leather.

Waiting to board my flight. Having beef jerky for dinner. I hate flying. I hope the taco place is still open when I get there, but I doubt it. It will be after 9.

Well, DandoX, if you hadn't pointed it out, I would have never noticed it. Even after you pointed it out, it wouldn't bother me.

Hell, back in the day, when they made seat covers of REAL leather, imperfections were all over the place, that was a good sign it was real leather -

i hate dealer-installed options. that's crap. it's like they designed the upper, designed the lower, and as they were meeting them in the middle, the HR rep came in to discuss photocopier etiquette.
