Decals yes. All letters and numbers, the wing walks and the national insignia. The bat on the tail is a highly altered decal to back date it to Ultras era. The tail colours and anything else that isn't gray are all paint.

They also apparently only stop you if you literally chuck a tomato at them as you go by...

They stop you if you have an out of state plate, or no front plate. If you have a Cal plate they think you are just going home and wave you thru.

That's what I thought, but couldn't tell for sure lol. Looks great! If the background was a flight deck or something, I'd swear that was a real plane.

Ya know I think all my rentals had California plates now that you mention it. Highly convenient.

Ya the decals are weathered so they look like they are painted on not just stuck there.
My cell phone photo skills totally suck so I can never get it as nice as I like.
These are pics taken by the guy that I did the model for (a gift for his father). He has a real camera and knows how to use it so detail shows up much better. There is not a hope I could do that without decals.

Tcoat's being modest. Our custom tail art was a rare exception to the rules and he captured it perfectly.

Only cleaned for the cruise book shot. We were out at sea so we had to do it all by hand with rags and cans of CPC. Unbelievable waste of material.
