First thing I'm going to do to my twin is scrape the permit off the back window.

Budget manager is in a panic. I told him if you think you guys are going to run me ragged my last 3 week, then I feel a real bad cold coming on. I have over 450 hours leave on the books.

If they have your mobile number, change it as soon as you're done scratching off the parking permit.

That's an easy one. We are a hospital, so every outgoing call goes out with our general operator phone number ID, so only one number to block.

The stone is just the façade and last time I looked was still standing. The actual internals of the building itself is as much as 850 year old timber. Think the Rome Colosseum or old temples. They look like they are still standing but it's just a shell.

Yes the building can be rebuilt (in theory) but the lost artwork, relics, and contents is another issue, lost to history.

Fortunately they had removed a lot of the statues from the spire as part of the renovation just last week.

All the carving in the wood, the stained glass, the artifacts and art, the tapestries, even all of the records would all burn like mad. The place was packed full of one of a kind stuff.

There may have been something that new in the spire but the whole place is lined in wood. There are solid oak beams more than 2' wide. All the walls are covered in 1" wood paneling. The stone walls 8' thick at the base. are You can not even imagine the grandeur of the place. Even the picture do not show how awe inspiring it is.
Depending on where the fire gets to it could smolder for years.

The exteriors is still the amazing part. So light and spindley for stone. And the rose windows, which... I don't know if they made it. And I think much of the vault was stone, so even something of a ceiling left. Maybe. Wood on top for the roof, which is where it caught. And the spire was a chimney, it never stood a chance.
