I'm still not happy with the range either. For long trips I like minimal stops. The FRS will go easily 350 miles on a tank on a highway (I have gone as much as 413 miles). My Suburban will go 500+ miles.

The longest range Tesla barely reaches the 350 mile level, and I doubt it will do it on the highway.

Now, 20 minutes might be fine at current demand, but let's assume the majority of the population drives EVs for a minute. The average time someone spends at a gas pump is around 5 minutes. 20 minutes is 4x that amount of time, meaning you need 4x the amount of chargers to keep up with the equivalent demand. And then there is the wait time if all the charging stations are full. You are low on charge, it's a hot day, you just want lunch, but you have to wait in your car with the AC off for a slot to to open up so you can park.

Let's not get into utility issues.
