Drove my FRS to work this morning. Not particularly eventful, other than I got to drive with the windows down for some of it. Oh and I passed a speed trap. Did not crash, nor get pulled over. We will see how it goes this evening.

That would suck! I actually liked the buttons on the Polara, felt "higher class" somehow.

After driving the Suburban for 10 days, I did have to adjust back to the location of the gear lever in the 86. I reached for the column shift at least twice this morning. That was after constantly reaching for the console shift in the Suburban all week.

Hmm...maybe the problem isn't the cars.

Nope. No blow ins, outs, ups, bys, throughs, jobs, fish, darts, nor any blow in general.

My dad's 1936 Cord 810 Westchester sedan had a preselect transmission with a similar shifter. Select the gear and then when you operated the clutch pedal it would go into that gear. Well, that's what was suppose to happen...

My 86 hit it’s 10,000km birthday on Tuesday (14 weeks old). Celebrated by leaving it in the garage and riding the bike to work. Ended up with about a bajillion bugs hitting my helmet. Did not crash.

Can't say the same for the bugs however....

Update. Made it home in one piece as well. In my FRS. Without crashing. Though when I get home there is no power on my street. The street behind me, has power. The next street down, has power. Looks like someone crashed into something 2 streets over (yes on the far side of the street that has power ), judging by all the emergency vehicles. Probably one of them BRZ asshats. They're always crashing into stuff.

Drove to work this morning. There was a lot of pollen on my windshield. I had to use the windshield squirters. I'm so glad this car comes with a lifetime supply of washer fluid. Did not crash.

Agh yes, my car is green right now, as is every other one in Atlanta. Unfortunately it doesn't show well in pictures. This is the retention pond next to my office which is normally clear to the bottom.

The green is pollen that has fallen on top of the water since the last rainfall a few days ago.

Have you seen how big the washer fluid tanks are on these cars?

Have you seen the size of the crickets there?

Watch for bee hives next to the roads too.
