Back when I was putting 60,000 miles a year on my car I always looked forward to the expression on the salesman's face when I would trade in a 4 year old car with mega miles. Always made sure that part of the negotiation was done very last.

Wish I could say the same. My hood looks like crap. It's starting to not pass the 30 foot test.

I may be giving the car a rest soon. I am considering getting a veloster N. I lobe my BRZ but I am also 6'6" tall so im pretty much at the max height to drive the car. So i am looking at other fun cars that have more leg room

I hand washed mine fir the first time this season on Sunday. At this point what is left of the orange is a matt finish. about 5% of the bumper is now black plastic. I do as well. It prevented stone chips but the tattered edges of the larger impacts are like little banners flapping in the wind now. Of course many missed it completely and the rest of the hood looks like crap.

I'm with you. I think I was burning myself out reading the recall threads and thinking there might be no way I can stick with my original plan of keeping this car forever (or ya know at least 20+ years). This gives me a little hope that not every FA20 will die a premature death.
