That is the next thing that people like to point at. The parents are not to blame for changes in generational behaviour. There is really nothing different between most generations each just likes to think they are better or that things are "new". Would you really like to have to behave like old So-crates there says kids should? He was probably no better as a kid.

Cancel the trip. How will you ever feel the Japanese roads like that?

Nope.

I paid my own way through college and had to have a job afterwards. The buddy I mentioned needed someone to fill in for a couple of weekends so I took the gig. Ended up working the entire summer. Best job I ever had in terms of pure enjoyment. Not only did I do the in park thing, but I was on a public service announcement with Ms. Maryland, was the mascot a couple of times at the Richmond minor league team's games, and was on Romper Room for a week when they filmed in the park.

After the park closed for the summer, I worked on a construction crew that built a roller coaster (my kids got to ride it 20 years later), and then worked the following summer as the Customer Satisfaction manager for the park. After there were no full time positions at the park, I got into computers and went on my way.

Well, that patch may work, if you put it over your mouth so you didn't drink so much -

Fair price w not crazy road noise tires.
I have found that good all season tires work well with this car for average driving.

Less than a week later, we had multiple 60+ degree days back to back. I rode the bike those days so as to not shred up my Blizzaks, but I was a bit salty nonetheless. Now, temps are like 25 when I leave in the morning (a bit too cold to ride comfortably) but like 55-60 on my drive home (a little hotter than I would want to be driving on winters, but perfect bike weather). I guess I should just shut up about the cold, wear my glove liners/balaclava, and ride lol.
Now all I have to do is find that wheel and tire super thread....
