What you want to protect against that kind of damage is a clear bra. X-pel is a product I know many on here have used but I'm sure there are other products available (I don't have a clear bra).

A ceramic coating is mostly for ease of maintenance due to it's hydrophobic effects making washing much easier. Some coating products claim to resist light scratches and swirl marks, but they definitely can't protect against impacts like a clear bra.

As for your windshield... well it's gonna get dinged over time and there isn't much you can do about it. I actually got a rock chip driving home from the dealership with less than 10km on my car. It was small and didn't crack further so I never got it fixed, but I see it every day. There are also ceramic coating products for windshields/glass, but again that is only going to improve water shedding ability and not provide any impact protection.

Laying face-up on cold concrete will leave you sore for about a week.

I never thought of the BRZ as a "small" car. I have owned a couple that were much smaller.

Not sure, and actually you may not be able to because Subaru sold their small engine division to Yamaha in 2017.

I almost bought one of those from a tool outlet two years ago but they had such horrible reviews I ran away. It wasn't the motor that was the issue, it was the rest of it. One review said if you needed a mower it would be faster to use a goat.
