now that we've hit 20... we should really put an end date on the group buy for when people need to get their order in.

Say end of the month??

Guys, good job, we have hit 20.....Now, any idea for payment and delivery?

I am just a single normal customer and 86 fan like you guys, and I am doing you a big favor to arrange the group buy, good for you, good for myself. We all like the cheaper price for the stuff we love. Meanwhile, I am thinking if I finally put a big order and pay the bill, then someone does not come to buy............You know what I mean, it happens.. SO, idea pls!

generally the organising member of the group buy collects money from participants and pays the supplier...

(i'm not sure how customs etc work... but keep in mind we will almost certainly have to pay GST on these due to over $1000 dollars so you need to factor that into price you ask from everyone)

now we have to arrange shipping as well.. are you happy to for Sydney members to pick up from you??

or you need to factor delivery in to price as well..

How to make a best solution? If all of you pay me, you will worry about your money, someone may think I just go away with the money...it happens...

Regarding the shippment, I am OK to be the Sydney receiver, and I could leave them in my friend's Work Shop (kind of car repair maintain and open Monday to Saturday), if some of you want them install the Fin for you, I will ask them just charge a small amount, anyway, it is also not too hard to install by yourself, but some people like me, are quite lazy....haha.

you have 230 posts... and there is still such a thing as trust...

if you were really a scammer i doubt you would have spent this long only to attain such little pay off. Plus generally everyone is quite patient provided you remain active and provide updates every 5 days or so.

Once we finalise numbers; co-ordinate final price with supplier... divide that by the number of people, add enough to cover customs charges/duties, and add some to the interstate members so you can ship their ones to them.

Organising group buys isn't terribly hard... it just requires co-ordination and in return you get the thanks from all the members

Maybe there can be a single ship point in each state to reduce further shipping costs (assuming there's enough people ordering from each state, anyway)?

Thank you for your trust mate! It is sweet. Yes, I have been making effort for 86 fans in this forum and I did achieve some good reputation from the Opti Coat thread that the awesome job done by Frank. I do not know him before, and I do not get any commission. So, if you guys could trust me, it is the easiest way to go. Regarding to local receiver, let us see anyone can be the volunteer..

BTW, I feel little bit sad, as most of people just care about the cheaper price, even no one gives me a thank…..
