Haven't caught up on Punisher yet, but he was one of the best parts of Daredevil.

Hell Yes! We had Creature Features, hosted by good old Bob Wilkins. My older brother and I would be glued to the TV. Good memories. |

A while back I got a letter from Chevy asking me to join their "Truck Legends" site. It's a site for anyone that has owned a Chevy truck that has gone over 100,000 miles. I've owned 3 (two Astros that went 250,000 and 280,000, and my current Suburban at @140,000).
I figured what the heck, then didn't really think much more of it. Turns out GM may be more serious about it than I thought (at least from a marketing standpoint). So far they've sent me a couple of gifts in the mail, including a nice tin box that contains a set of "Chevy Legends" playing cards, and I few other trinkets. I just got an email that contains free tickets to the upcoming Atlanta International Auto Show. Nice touch, Chevy.

I'll have to look into some of these shows. My wife and I need a couple new shows. We tried Game of Thrones, but couldn't get thru the first episode. We watched the first 3 episodes of Gotham; I like it, but my wife can take it or leave it. We both liked Doc Martin, but didn't get far before Netfix dropped it.

I think my wife went about 4 deep and did mention it gets better. But yes, I'm not usually one for dragons and swords, and I don't need a 10 minute sex scene to understand they are having sex. |

If you liked Doc Martin you might like "Death in Paradise" and "Midsomer Murders". Different topics but similar subplots. Speaking of RBDIGITAL I haven't gone into a public library in years, but I've used the heck out of the audiobook and streaming downloads available through them. During 2018 I completed the entire "Moses Malone" and "Scot Harvath" book series as well as catching up on all the Tom Clancy books I missed reading, and working on "Jack Reacher" right now. The "advantage" of having a long commute.

I'm with you on that, they should play that up in some alternate world scenario.

I'm surprised by how many avid audio book listeners I've bumped into have no idea this is available. The difficult part is that there is often a wait for the most popular books, particularly if its a series and you want to listen to them in order. The checkout has a time limit on it, so you have to be creative sometimes to get around it.
