If the dealer drops the pan and sees a pickup that looks like those photos will they be honest and cover the work or will they pretend they didn't cause the problem and stick it to the customer?

That is from the Subaru recall document. Linked off the NHTSA.gov site.

These are all the documents linked from the federal government regarding the recall for the FRS and BRZ. There's a lot in there, including that page.

My BRZ is a '17, not involved in the recall. I've been in the automotive industry for 15 years, I have a different perspective on these things than most. Also learned how to track down info that is public but not exactly handed out. There's a ton on information out there, finding it is important.

See the link above. The work instructions are the big documents at the bottom. The crude black and white ones are Toyota, the nice color ones are Subaru. That screen cap is from the Subaru document.
