Out of desperation, I opened the hood, punched the dent and it popped right back out, no worse for wear. I basically broke even on that transaction.

True, but I may have inadvertently invented paintless repair. Probably missed my Million$ opportunity there.

I could probably pop out my little dent but without the right tools, I'd have to remove my head liner and figure out how to work around the reinforcement.

2016 Mercedes-Benz AMG E63 S Wagon black, dual-clutch AT, AWD

Yes, I have a weakness for stupid fast station wagons...

Oh and a 1964 Dodge Polara which was my very first car. If this one was black on black like my original I'd probably put in a bid.

Or..you can just let the sun do the work. My son put a dent in the rear passenger door of our Suburban in 2013 when he hit a parked car. Because we had to report it, the insurance company paid us for yours even though we didn't pay to get it fixed.

With the weather cycles what was a very obvious dent has slowly worked itself out all on it's own to the point it is barely noticeable. Wish I had taken pictures of it.
