My neighbor has a Miata. Don't see it driven much. They keep the cover on it 24/7/365. The wind will be smacking that thing against the paint. So today it had really been storming and the cover blew off. The mom went out and put it back, and made sure it wouldn't come back off. SMH.

The real crime is that it's not in the garage. I'm guessing their garage is full of garbage they don't need?

Hope y'all down south gets power restored soon! My hood was spared this time around. I vividly recall the last shitstorm of 2008 or 2010 where we lost power for 2 weeks.

In other random thoughts: I'm strongly considering moving to a place with sunshine most of the year that's not California. Thought about moving to Tri-Cities in eastern WA but still not enough sunshine there.

AZ seems up my alley. If I still wanted PNW-like weather, Flagstaff is the spot to be at.

Sequim is closer. They get a lot of bright days and the PNW like weather.
