Seeing that you have a 2016 model you have nothing to worry about. This platform is pretty reliable the only issues were in some 2013-2014 models which is to be expected as it was still new at that point. Even then it was taken care of through TSBs and warranties. The only time major problems arise are when people go FI.

Hi all,

Purchased a 2014 WR Blue Limited about 2 months ago and am loving every minute behind the wheel. I have owned too many cars to list in my 40 plus years of driving and I have to say this BRZ has been more fun to drive than any of them.

The thing that impresses me the most is the handling. I really hate the phrase "corners like it's on rails", because it's so over used by every Fast and Furious fan that ever installed a set of coilovers, but I have to say the BRZ does just that, and with a stock suspension to boot!

Anyway, glad to be a member of the forum and I'm sure I'll learn a lot about my car in the months to come.

Hello all, new to the forums (been lurking for quite a while now but figured it'd be worth it to make an account). Was on a 2017 BRZ but things happened and am now on the 2018 tS.

Love this platform! Learning a lot and am excited to see where I go with this car

New here? Come say hi =)

Been lurking for a few weeks. My name is Jason. I’m an old man at the age 42. I’m a tattoo artist in Greensboro NC. Been into imports for a long time. Just bought my first Subaru. ‘17 BRZ Premium. It had 34k and in mint condition with zero mods. I paid $19,999. I put a Greddy CS catback on it, tinted the windows to 5%, window visors, Buddy Club V2 tails.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been lurking for a few months and leveraged the collective knowledge in this forum to mod my Series Grey.

Added an STI front lip, Ace Header, Milltek Catback and ECU Tune by Church. Love the car....

Hi everyone,

I'm Rich and live in the Seattle, WA area. I'm originally from the SF Bay Area but moved up to the PNW about 10 years ago.

Been lurking and researching for a while for a car that I ultimately want to get as a daily driver and autocross car. Been checking out cars such as a used C7, Camaro SS 1LE, and the Mustang GT Performance Pack 2. I've also considered the BMW M2 and M4.

In the end, I've decided to return to my roots as an owner of imports such my 1983 Toyota Celica GT, 1992 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo AWD (aka Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX), 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S, 1985 Toyota Celica-Supra P-Code, and 1993 Mazda Miata. I tried to go muscle car but after testing driving a few, I've decided that my 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 project will have to satisfy that power needs(if my health holds up) and go for a car that I can autocross and open track with precision.

That being said, I just brought home tonight a beautiful red 2018 Subaru BRZ Limited Performance Package. All I can say is, I am happy as hell and looking forward to compete in the local autocross here in the Seattle, WA area. Dear god, I can't stop staring at it. Will be posting more up more pics of it. Nice to meet you all!

I'm curious, how much did you pay? I too have white tS and I paid $30K + tax total $33K out the door.

33k plus TTL. So about 36k total. Purchased mine in Plano TX and it was one of two in North Texas at the time. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal!

Hello everyone~!
Just got my beautiful crystal white BRZ Limited + performance package.
I've had 08 Civic Si sedan for 10 years and had to let her go due to unfortunate circumstances.
I've decided to turn that around by getting the car that I always admired and I'm in love again.
