It's cool. A recent study proved that one diet will not work for all people. Meaning whats good for me may not be good for you.

Plus, I know a few chefs... They LOVE meat and love cooking it!

My wife and I try to eat vegan, fall back to vegetarian in some cases, and never impose when guests at someone else's place, ie we eat what is served. It's been this way for about 5 years now.

Not really sure what you call that, which is why I usually state, "I try to eat vegan".
