None too soon. The mrs and I had a heated argument yesterday about washing clothes in cold water only. She said that she never heard of it. I said that back on the farm, we NEVER used hot water to wash clothes. After my first marriage ended, I just knew that I should have married that cowgirl from Kentucky, but, nooo I married the city girl from Saint Louis. But, THAT is a whole different story.

I added that in Europe, they never use hot water to wash clothes. She said "even underwear?". She added, no wonder the girls in Europe stink. I said, NO, it's because - then I shut the fuck up, because my mind flooded over with the memories of this German landlords daughter that didn't use deodorant, shave under her arms nor her legs nor anywhere else. But THAT is a whole different story -

mrs humfrz FINALLY decided to wash our clothes in cold water - but, she refused to take a cold shower.

I was going to suggest that we go down on the valley floor and rent a motel room at the no-tell motel so we could shower up. She said that was too expensive. I ABOUT SAID, no, not really, they rent rooms by the hour -

BUT, I didn't say that - ol humfrz knows when to keep his mouth shut -

I hope to tell my grandkids stories like these. Not planning to have kids so not sure how that's going to happen. Maybe I'll be that cool, crazy uncle/family member who tell others to do stupid stuff for $20.

Well, I'm sure that you will have a few stories to tell - after a few beers at a family reunion -

Now, it's quite easy to have grandkids without having kids. The present mrs humfrz had a daughter before we were married. Now that daughter (our daughter) has three daughters (our granddaughters).

How did that happen? Well, she and I got all drunked up on a Friday night and we flew to Las Vegas and got hitched the next day. Yep, 33 years ago, last week.

See, how easy that can happen -

What your supposed to say is, hey stay here while I goto the hotel and shower up. Then she'll stay "No YOU stay here and I'LL shower up at the hotel." And then you say, yes honey, whatever you want dear.
