SMH:
Subaru only has 201 BRZ coupes to sell for the remainder of this year. Rowley said the maker had taken eight deposits in the first five minutes and sold 18 cars in a little more than an hour. Six of those buyers were women. How the heck did they get through? |

My dealer said 1 month wait for a premium manual SWP or 4 months for the WRB. I'm leaning towards the WRB but 4 months is pushing my patience.

What a colossal fail on Subaru's part this is, did they think that there wouldn't be a rush on trying to order these cars. With only 1 in 8 cars being built being badged as a Subaru I guess I'll just wait for my 86 to arrive.

Also saw some prices for the accessories. ~$175 for mats, ~$175 for boot cover, ~$1800 for the Satnav, ~$850 for the diffuser, ~$650 for the spoiler. $1500 for the leather seats.
So to get the BRZ to GTS spec is about $37150 + 175 + 175 + 1800 + 1500 - $680 (for servicing) = ~$40120. GTS prices have ranged from $39000 - $39850 (website). |

Surely they tested this feature before making such a big deal of it? Very frustrating!!!! |

Or are you just creating false hope in an effort to make people keep trying and create even more frustrated with Inchcape (if that is possible)? I've had a gut full. I'll just buy an 86. |

you could just wait a couple of hours till the amount of traffic hitting the site calms down and then give it a go.
ever thought there would be 1000's of people on there playing around seeing how much it would cost etc and their servers not being able to cope? They have never done this before, so they have never had a chance to try it publicly, so there are going to be some teething problems. even waiting a day or two, will probably be quicker than waiting 18+ months for a 86.

I had a call to say that my money has gone in. Waiting on another call with dates, the important bit!
Hopefully we'll both be driving BRZs, Mike. |
