BRZ Techstream or equivalent?
I was doing some reading and keep finding mentions of techstream, and being able to enable some really nice features like auto locking the car when walking away, parking mirrors, auto window close on lock, etc. Is this available on the BRZ (and specifically mine, 16 limited automatic) or are the subie owners SOL?

as far as I know, there is no feature to auto lock as you walk away. the car has no idea you're walking away. it is constantly sending an am signal that talks to your smart key, so it does know when your near, but as many times as I've went into my custom settings, there has never been this feature listed. I have a 16 frs r.s 2.0 with all the same features your BRZ limited has.
what do you mean by parking mirrors? Like they fold up when in park and vehicle off? I think you would have to have folding mirrors for that, not sure if the brz has that. I know the frs doesn't in America. and auto window close on lock? do you want to lock your car and your windows automatically roll up? if so, then no. theres no such thing as far as I know you could always take it to a dealer and ask them to hook up to there computer and go into customizable settings and request to view what is available though. and the link doesn't work. |

Parking mirrors maybe meaning the side mirrors tilt down when backing up so you have a better view of the curb? I've seen some cars do that.

The car simply does not have the hardware nor BCU abilities for what you want. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34502

Aww feels bad. So the customizable things that I know of in my brz are: Unlock both doors when unlocking drivers door, and the alarm toggle. Any other common ones to keep in mind?
