Toledo Autocrosses! 7/15 AND 7/27-29
2 of the next 3 weekends will hold events at probably the best site in the Midwest, Toledo Express Airport.
NWOR Points Event #5 July 15th and SCCA National Pro-Solo July 27-29th I'll be at both in the GXP, but the BRZ will be on site. Anyone else coming out for either? |

Considering going this weekend. Will keep an eye on registration count. Will probably decide against it if it looks like more than 3 runs aren't happening.

I can't guarantee it, but there should be no reason we shouldn't be able to get 4 runs in, even if the event max's at 200 entrants. With the biggest pro solo in history 2 weeks after, there will be a lot of people being very serious about having the event run without a hitch to be fully prepared.

I'm in for RT - looks like there is a CS entry also - and there is still room for 13 more entries under the cap as of today. The competition in RT looks pretty stiff. Considering Darrin paxed me by 4.6% in Dover and then by 3.2% this past Saturday guest driving a far from fully prepared FSP car, not to mention all the others, I'm sure I'll just be pack fill. Pro's are still great, though - should be a good time. |

Great event today! Did you make it out there, dsgerbc? I saw someone running CS in a completely stock WRB BRZ. Unfortunately I was too busy between running first heat, cleaning up the MG engine juice after it threw a rod during second heat, and working course 3rd I never made it over to say hi, sorry about that!
I look forward to meeting you guys at the pro! |

Sounds good. I realized my car will probably only be on site on Friday. I'm not able to make it down until Friday morning. The other days my car wont be there as I usually stay over in the Pemberville area and we take the tow rig back and forth. I'll be in the ASP Solstice again.

Wow, that was quite an intense weekend! Congrats to Chris for his domination of C-stock and 2nd place overall in the Super challenge! Sorry I never made it over to chat, Pro format is just such a whirlwind, I am exhausted from the last 3 days!
There were 4 BRZ's/FR-S out this weekend (3 competing), its great to see such a high level of involvement just a few short months after the initial release! I unfortunately didn't bring mine down. |

Good to meet everyone - and definitely congrats to non-86 entries Tim (T3) and Chris (who would've won BS and AS with his times) and of course Sam's T3 in the crazy SS battle.
Not that these are anything great, but if you are curious how it was in a BRZ, here's video from my best efforts, which I didn't get until Sunday morning: https://vimeo.com/46593985 Overall, I was pleased to improve from a very rough start on Friday, but still a long way to go. |

It was great meeting you as well John! Watching your videos, that looked like a blistering final left side run, great job hunting down John Tak on sunday morning to take the RT non-AWD win! And from someone who shares the pain... AWD should be segregated from 2WD for Pro-format competition

The field is shaping up nicely and I like the R/F runs days, but not sure yet - I've got a few more days to procrastinate on that decision
